Alpha Video was excited to host our annual Kick-Off event last Friday. We’ve typically held the event at downtown venues, but like most things these days, we had to change things up this year. The Zoom get-together started with the entire Alpha team cooking and creating craft cocktails. Alpha Video sent employees food and beverage kits with almost everything they needed to make a first-class meal at home.

To prepare the meal, we had the great fortune of taking live cooking and mixology direction from Chef/Owner Jason Hansen and Beverage Director Tim Shaaf from Estelle, a popular restaurant nestled in St. Paul’s Mac-Groveland neighborhood. Estelle was so popular after opening in October of 2019 that reservations were next to impossible to get. As good as the cooking and cocktail lessons were, we all look forward to joining them at their restaurant next time.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Alpha Video Value Awards. The awards recognized employees for exemplifying Alpha’s core company values. The awards are particularly gratifying for the winners since it was their fellow co-workers that nominated them.
