Newark Metro MeetUP

Previous Events

On March 1, 2018, Communication Media Managers from the CMMA met to discuss remote acquisition technologies and production workflows. This event was hosted by Paul Moore, Vice President of Prudential Productions.  Members from Manhattan, New Jersey and Philadelphia gathered to hear from James Brown, a Media Platform Solutions Engineer for Globecomm and Robert DePalma, Founder of DePalma Productions and subject matter expert for Crews Control discuss the state of remote acquisition of content.

James gave an examination of the types of technology that are market ready and identified major pain points and solutions that often plague the media manager.  Robert led the group in a discussion and benchmarking exercise around field and control room based production workflows.  Paul ended the discussion with a tour of the production facilities at Prudential.

Afterwards, members had a meal and conversation at a dinner hosted by Crews Control and Globecomm.
