For the first time in many years, during the 2018 National Conference in Savanna, GA, CMMA is offering an activity program for the significant others (SO’s) of Members and Partners. Tapping into the architecture, art, history, and culture of Savannah, SO’s will enjoy tours, activities, and local cuisine while the conference is in session.

On Sunday afternoon, the SO’s will experience the city on the Old Town Savannah bus tour.

On Monday morning, SO’s will have breakfast with the members and Partners and then attend the dynamic keynote address by renowned speaker and author, Will Bowen. After the keynote, SO’s will take the short walk to tour the iconic St. John’s Cathedral. Afterward, the group will see the incredible Forsythe Park, the largest of the signature squares in Savannah.

Lunch will be at the Collins Quarter (http://www.thecollinsquarter.com/) in old town. Then off to tour the historic Owens-Thomas House and the Jepson/Telfair Museums of Fine and Modern Art.

SO’s will join the members and Partners for the Bijou Content Experience Showcase following the days’ plenary session.

On Tuesday, the group will walk the few short blocks to Oglethorpe Square and embark on an architectural tour of Savannah’s historic district.Prepare for a  delightful traditional southern lunch at Mrs. Wilke’s Dining Room. (http://mrswilkes.com/)

In the afternoon, you can explore Savannah on your own, return to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon, or attend the closing keynote presentation by Nan Crawford. Then, off to the big evening celebration of the week at the President’s Dinner.
